Good things come in small packages
The final day of Create 10 is upon us. I've seen so many fantastic pages and I know lots of you have classes printed off for future. I've received lots of thank yous so thank you for those! I've really enjoyed putting Create 10 together and will defo do another one later in the year.
Don't forget there are goodie bags to be won if you've completed a class. They'll be 10 draws to win and the draws will be made on Wednesday 28th April so if you've made anything don't forget to add links to your finished projects on this post. If you've not made anything you still have a chance to win, they'll be one extra draw for everyone who signed up to Create 10.
The goodie bags are very cute, very pink and filled with yummy crafting goodies! :)

Quick off the markers
Wow, some of you are breezing along with your Create 10 projects. If you've finished class 1 and class 2 I've got an extra little challenge for you. Why don't you put what you've learned so far together to make a card? If you don't want to make a card how about a gift tag for a present?
Here's an example for you.
I've used the ribbon rose technique from class 1 to make a trim, gluing them to a piece of ribbon. I've added some paper cut out as shown in class 2 along with some distressing like we did in class 2. Your turn, see what you can come up with by combining your techniques.

Create 10 is live!
Create 10 kicks off today and continues for 10 days with the last class, (a fab mini book) on Friday 23rd April.
For everyone who is taking part don't forget to link up any thing you complete in the 10 days for your chance to win some cute goodie bags. You can add your links to the comments on this post or add them to the Create 10 Flickr group. The draws will take place on Monday 26th April Wednesday 28th April midday UK time (so you have more time to finish off you projects). They'll also be a draw for everyone who has signed up so even if you don't have time to complete anything right now you still have a chance to win.
You can post your finished projects on your own blog or online gallery and link to it in the comments on this post or you can upload your finished projects to the Create 10 Flickr group which you can find here:
If you're a UKScrappers member I've also set up a social group so we can chat and share there too that's here,

April Ideas from Angela
Hello All,
My first time posting here on the blog! Hope you are all well and having fun crafting! I thought I would add the cards I made from this month's set.
First up..So Tweet!
This is my personal favourite as I used a new to me technique to add a little pop. I trimmed the 6x6 card base down so I could fit 4 squares across and down on the card, I punched 4 different patterns and glued them to the card then over stitched them with a zig zag stitch to get the patchwork effect and edged it in a straight stitch. The bird was cut and coloured with promarkers and I then added all the embellishments and journalling spot.
Then...Sunshine and Rainbows
I used the shaped scallop card suggestion, and cut out the rainbow using papers from the previous Sugar, Sugar kit and glittered the clouds, backed on to some AC paper and added the cute little bird button included in the April Kit.
Finally..Cookin' Up Some Love
All products used were from the kit (apart from sentiment and jewels) I traced the apron from the co-ordinating patterned paper, for those with a steady hand you could scallop cut the edging for the apron, I just glued on punched circles on the back! die cut some backing paper, added the foam embellishments and tied it all up with the included ribbon and the cute little pin!
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me. I'd love to see what subscribers make with this kit, why don't you leave a link to your blog in the comments so we can come have a look!
Have a great month :)

New Quirky Kit nearly ready!
Update: New Quirky Kit, 'What's the Story?' is online and shipping now view full details and order here, http://www.craftytemplates.co.uk/quirkykit.html
I keep getting asked for news so for the pretty please with a cherry on top pleas all I can say is that the new Quirky kit is almost ready and will definitely be on the site next week. I was hoping we'd be good for this week but the Easter holiday has come along to spoil the party, the last box of goodies I'm currently tracking and it's still going through customs. I've set up notifications on my phone so I'm literally following the parcels progress!
I guess we can give it a little break because it is coming all the way from Los Angeles. It's definitely being a Hollywood diva and being very fashionably late!
If you want to be the first to know when the new Quirky Kit 'What's the Story? is online get yourself on the mailing list, email enquiries@craftyprincess.co.uk with 'add me to the quirky kits mailing list' in the subject and I'll add you on.
